1. Wait it Out

Of course, the safest way to remove hair dye from your skin is to wait it out. The stain will lighten and fade over time until it eventually completely disappears. In about two days (or less) it will naturally disappear. If you are not overly self-conscious, the best option is to just be patient and let it fade on its own.

2. Go to a Salon

Obviously, the main reason you probably opted to color your hair at home is to save some money. However, you get what you pay for and are more prone to mishaps when you color your hair yourself. If you are really self-conscious about the hair color stain, then you can consult a professional stylist for some advice. Surely, you might have to pay for this service, but sometimes it’s worth it to splurge for the advice of a professional hair colorist in these matters!

3. MakeUp Remover

Chances are that you already have makeup remover at home. It is not only great for removing makeup, especially around the eyes. Also, it is an excellent way to remove hair color dye from your skin.

Simply apply some of the makeup remover to a cotton ball and rub it on the stain. Allow it to stay for 5 minutes before washing it off with lukewarm water.
