Beach Waves and Mini Braids Combo

First, create beach waves.

    1. Clip off your tresses, their top and bottom parts should be separate.
    2. Take a small strand and curl it with a curling iron (hold for about 6 seconds), away from your face.
    3. Take another strand but curl it in the opposite direction this time.
    4. Continue these steps, alternating the directions of curling.
    5. When the bottom is done, remove the clips from the top and curl it the same way.
    6. Finish with sea salt spray and shake out your curls.

How to braid hair step by step:

    1. Part your tresses as usually.
    2. Find a strand that lines up with your left temple and divide it off.
    3. Now divide this strand into 3 little strands, cross both side pieces under the central piece.
    4. Cross the upper piece under the central piece and get a tiny strand from the upper front area to include it into the braid.
    5. Cross the piece from below under the central piece and add a little strand under this braid.
    6. Cross the upper piece under the central piece, add one more strand from the upper front area behind the 1st strand.
    7. Now cross the piece from below under the central piece but do not add any little strands.
    8. Cross the upper piece under the central piece, add a new piece.
    9. Continue on so that the braid lies horizontally towards the back.
    10. Tie the braid with a clear elastic once it reached the back.
    11. Next, repeat all these steps and create one more Dutch braid, this time, starting from the right.
    12. Tie the second braid with a clear elastic at the back.
    13. Next, tie both braids together, using a clear elastic.
    14. Remove the elastics that were placed individually on each braid.
    15. Hide the elastic with a small strand, securing it with bobby pins underneath.

French Milkmaid Braids

  1. Brush through your second-day tresses.
  2. Part your tresses as usually.
  3. Take a strand from the crown, twist it, pin this strand against your head.
  4. Create a parting underneath that pinned area. That will assist in dividing your hair into 2 sections.
  5. Take a strand near the left parting and make three strands out of it.
  6. Start French braiding. Cross both side pieces over the central, adding more strands in the braid. Braid towards the neck nape till there is no unbraided hair left on this side.
  7. Braid down to the end, secure with a clear elastic.
  8. Next, create one more French braid, but on the right. Secure with a clear elastic.
  9. Pull the braids gently.
  10. Criss-cross both braids in the back and bring each braid up at its side, lay one braid over another on top of your head.
  11. Secure with bobby pins. Finish with hairspray.

Fishtail Braid Bun

  1. Take a strand from the top. Determine the forehead corners and create 2 part lines that go side by side. Clip the bottom section down.
  2. Take a strand at the hairline, divide this strand into 3 small strands.
  3. Cross both side pieces over the central piece, adding new strands every time.
  4. When you reach the crown, quit adding new strands. Instead, continue with a regular braid.
  5. Secure the bottom section of this braid, using 2 bobby pins.
  6. Tie the remaining hair up to get a ponytail, unravel the tail of the braid.
  7. Take a small strand from that ponytail and then pull the remaining pony through the middle of a tight mesh donut.
  8. Take a strand from the pony, start a fishtail braid with the remaining section below.
  9. At the top area, take a little piece, next, cross this piece over and then into the piece below.
  10. Take a little strand from the area below, cross this strand towards the top strand, add it to the braid.
  11. Take a little strand from the very top, then cross this strand over in the downward direction and then into the piece below.
  12. Take a little strand at the bottom, cross it over and then into the strand on top.
  13. Repeat these steps till you use all hair from the pony.
  14. Wrap this braid around and tuck it beneath. Secure it, using bobby pins.

French Braided Ponytail

  1. Brush your tresses thoroughly.
  2. Take a strand that is 2 inches wide from the forehead middle. Also, take 2 smaller strands directly backside of it, 1 a bit right-side, 1 a bit left-side.
  3. Start a French braid. Cross side strands over the middle strand and add more strands to the braid every time. Keep the braid right on top, in the center.
  4. Tie the braid off, using a semi-transparent elastic once you reach the crown back section.
  5. Brush the remaining hair to get a pony that starts at the braid end.
  6. Curl the pony ends, using a curling iron.
  7. Take a strand beneath the pony to hide the elastic by wrapping the strand around it.
  8. Take 2 bobby pins and criss-cross them over one another to secure that wrapped section.
  9. Finish with strong-hold hairspray.

Waterfall Into Fishtail Side Braid

  1. Part your tresses to the right, take a strand from the heavier side, make 3 strands out of this strand.
  2. Cross the strand from the back over the central strand, next, cross the strand from the front over the central strand.
  3. Cross the strand from the back over the central strand, add in a new strand to this strand.
  4. Do the same with the strand from the front.
  5. Repeat the third step.
  6. Take the strand from the front and divide it into 2 equal pieces, cross one of these pieces over the central strand.
  7. Let down another piece. Add a new piece to the one that was crossed over.
  8. Repeat the steps number 6-7 till you get 4 waterfall pieces hanging down.
  9. Repeat the steps number 6-7, and then take the 1st waterfall piece and add it to the braid.
  10. When you reach your shoulder, take the remaining hair and split it into 2 strands.
  11. Braid down the remaining hair and then tie off its end with a clear elastic.
  12. Loosen its sides gently.

French Braid Ponytail

  1.  Part your hair on any side you want.
  2. Pick up a section from your crown and divide it into three pieces for the braid.
  3. Cross the side strands over the middle, start from the left side.
  4. Add a section from the front of the face by crossing the left side over.
  5. Do the same with the right side.
  6. When the braid reaches your ears, bring the hair up and do a ponytail.
  7. Tie your ponytail with an elastic band.
  8. Use some hairspray to smooth down your hair.
  9. Take a small lock under your ponytail and wrap it around the band to hide it.
  10. Enjoy your amazing french braid ponytail!

Half Up Triple Braid Mini Bun

  1. Divide a 1″ section of the hair at the top of your head.
  2. Clip down your bottom hair.
  3. Pick a section that is near to your forehead and divide it into three small pieces.
  4. It’s time to do a dutch braid: cross the right strand under the middle and do the same with the left strand.
  5. Then cross the right strand under the middle and cross a new section under the middle strand.
  6. The left strand is crossed under the middle, as well as another new section.
  7. Cross the side strands under the middle strand and bring new sections to your braid until it reaches the crown of your hair.
  8. When it reaches the crown, continue the braid a little further down, and use a bobby pin over the ends to give it a support.
  9. Divide a new section of your hair on the right side.
  10. Repeat all the steps you’ve made and do the second dutch braid. Don’t forget about a pin!
  11. Divide out a section of your hair again, and create the second dutch braid on the left side of your head. Braid the section towards the crown!
  12. Pin down the braids. They must overlap one another.
  13. Unravel your braids by removing the pins.
  14. Pick up a section of the crown and twist it together.
  15. Do a little bun by wrapping your hair clockwise.
  16. Secure your bun with a couple of bobby pins around the base.
  17. Spritz your hair with a hairspray.

Pull Through Braid Low Bun

  1. Brush all your hair back from the forehead.
  2. Divide out the top section of your hair and tie it with a band.
  3. Clip the first ponytail.
  4. Then divide out the second section of your hair just underneath the first one, and tie them together.
  5. Divide your first ponytail into two halves.
  6. The second ponytail goes up right through the middle. Clip it!
  7. Divide out a new section of hair just underneath your last ponytail.
  8. Tie everything including the two halves of the first ponytail.
  9. Pick the clipped section and divide it into two halves.
  10. Bring the bottom ponytail up right through the middle, and don’t forget to clip it.
  11. Make a new section and tie it into a new ponytail with the halves of the previous ponytails.
  12. Repeat all these steps until all of your hair is included in your braid.
  13. Now, let’s make a bun: take the band from the last ponytail and pull the hair back in order to form a loop.
  14. To make your bun look fuller, twist the top section of your hair and pull on the edges.
  15. Pin the sides of your pull through braid with bobby pins.
  16. Twist the remaining hair together and lay it over the bun in the opposite direction.
  17. Add some hairspray and be ready to flaunt with a gorgeous hairstyle!

Double Fishtail French Braid Flower Ponytail

Here’s a way to create a stunning flower-like double fishtail braid that turns into a ponytail, just follow these steps!

  1. Part your hair on the right side.
  2. For a braid, take a little section of hair from the left side and divide it into three sections.
  3. Cross the right strand over the middle and then the left one over the middle to start a French braid.
  4. Now, your French braid should change into a fishtail braid, so you need to combine the right and the middle strands.
  5. Then, go on braiding the fishtail braid by picking a small piece of hair from the right strand and crossing it over the left one, and then crossing another new section over
  6. to the right side.
  7. Once your braid reaches the center of the back of your head, hitting the area above the left ear, continue your braid a bit further down and secure it with an elastic.
  8. Create the second fishtail French braid in exact the same way.
  9. Tie your braids together on the back of the head and take off the bands.
  10. Working with both sides of the head, take little sections and tie them over the ends of your double braids.
  11. Braid this section, creating a regular three-strand braid.
  12. For flower petals, pull one side of the braid and then tie its bottom with an elastic.
  13. To create a flower, wrap your braid into a spiral, tucking ends slightly to the center and placing it near the double braids.
  14. Secure the flower with some bobby pins and give it some coats of hairspray.

Dutch Braided Headband

This is how you can create a Dutch braided headband just yourself!

  1. Part your hair in the center.
  2. Take a little section from the left side of your part and divide it into three smaller ones.
  3. Start doing a Dutch braid by crossing the right strand under the middle and then crossing the left strand under the middle.
  4. Take the right strand and cross it under the middle, picking up a new section of hair and crossing it under and then incorporating it into the middle one.
  5. Do the same with the left strand, picking up and incorporating a new section.
  6. Go on braiding down towards the left ear and bringing new sections, making sure that your braid gets very close to the hairline.
  7. When your braid hits your ear, stop incorporating new sections and continue braiding a bit further down.
  8. Secure the first braid with bobby pins and repeat all those steps with the other side to create the second braid.
  9. Now, section off the top layer of the crown and clip it and tie your braids together right beneath this section.
  10. Let down the clipped hair and enjoy!

Dutch Crown Braid

In just a few steps, you can create a stunning crown with your own hair!

  1. Start by creating a deep part on the right side. Make sure that your hair has no tangles.
  2. Take a little section of hair from the heavy side of your part and split it into three smaller sections.
  3. Do a Dutch braid by crossing the right strand over the middle and the left strand over the middle one.
  4. Now, work with the right strand: cross it under the middle and take a new section of hair, crossing it in the same way.
  5. Do the same with the left strand.
  6. When the braid hits your left ear, continue the braid on the back of your head, incorporating hair from the back and nape and working towards the right side.
  7. Once all your hair is incorporated into the braid, braid the rest of the section in a regular braid.
  8. Put the braid across the top, right behind the beginning of the braid, and secure it with pins.
  9. Pull the edges of your braid, spritz it with hairspray, and be ready to flaunt with a crown!
