Through the bottom, you’re going to use a flat iron to give the hair some bend. It doesn’t have to be perfect. It just can’t be straight. Throughout the rest of the hair, you’re going to take vertical sections and curl the hair from the roots and pull it through the ends. Make sure you touch the curls to make sure the hair is getting heated all the way through.
Use a tiny amount of texture clay and make sure that you are heating it up in the palm of your hands until it’s almost translucent. Work through the roots first and then whatever is left works through the ends. This gives the roots a little bit of grip for volume on the ends and a little bit of hold for texture.
Finish with a little tousle and you’re ready to go.
